Our Equipment
STOE STADI P Diffractometers
The two high-precision STOE STADI P powder diffraction systems in transmission geometry operate with pure Mo and Cu Kα1 radiation, respectively, as completely independent instruments in one cabinet.
They are equipped with transmission sample changers and MYTHEN detectors to enable high precision measurements with high throughput.
easyXAFS
Our laboratory high-performance easyXAFS spectrometer provides
X-ray absorption (XANES-EXAFS) measurements in transmission configuration with synchrotron-quality resolution for all transition metal elements using Mo and W hard X-ray tubes sources from 4.5-25+ keV.
inVia Raman microscope
The inVia Raman microscope supports a wide range of environmental and sampling accessories.
This Raman spectrometer is equipped with three different laser wavelengths (532, 633, 785 nm), which allows users to choose the most suitable wavelength for sample analysis based on the sample characteristics and experimental goals.
Lambda 365+ UV/Vis Spectrophotometer System
LAMBDA 365+: The PerkinElmer Lambda 365+ is a double beam UV/Vis device for high stability and low stray light. It delivers a variable spectral bandwidth capability from 0.5 – 20 nm and a large sample compartment that can easily accommodate more than 10 sampling accessory combinations. Further it is equipped with a water jacketed S-Cell holder to control the temperature of the sample while stirring at three different speed settings.
BRUKER FT-IR VERTEX 70v
The ATR-FT-IR VERTEX 70v vacuum spectrometer delivers exceptional optical performance, with all components gold-coated for optimal efficiency. Covering a standard spectral range of 8000 to 350 cm⁻¹, its vacuum-sealed design ensures peak signal-to-noise ratio, enabling high-resolution results.
Horiba Fluorolog
The Fluorolog or fluorescence spectrometer measures not only the emission and excitation spectra of molecules in solution but can also be used for quantum yield determination and fluorescent lifetime analysis.
Malvern Zetasizer
The Zetasizer is used to measure the properties of particles in suspension, including particle size down to a few nanometers, through dynamic light scattering and particle surface charges using the zeta potential technique.
Microwave Digestion System (MARS)
The CEM Microwave Digestion System MARS 6™ enables up to six temperature-controlled microwave reactions simultaneously.
The system also offers a wide range of methods and the flexibility to customize conditions to meet each chemist’s specific requirements.
Glovebox
The Labmaster glovebox system is equipped with two large airlocks of different sizes and two pairs of gloves.
It also includes a refrigerator capable of cooling down to -35°C and a stereo microscope.
The system features a regenerable molecular sieve solvent filter.
In Eco mode, it is designed to use minimal amounts of argon.
BET
Specialization in the determination of the surface area of solid powder sample (mass > mg) using liquid N2. Several samples can be measured simultaneously through the multi-channel function.
High-temperature tube furnaces
High-temperature (tube) furnaces are used for material synthesis and heat treatment, capable of reaching temperatures up to 1500°C. They can operate under a controlled atmosphere, with options for gas supply (e.g., N₂, Ar) or vacuum conditions, to suit specific experimental needs.
